Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic rock formed when lava is extruded from a volcano and then rapidly cools. Its easily identifiable with a deep black hue and a smooth uniform texture. Obsidian blend is the darkest roast that I have, this makes it a great everyday coffee drinker. Whether you use it on espresso, chemex or in a french press, this coffee blend tastes great with its smooth chocolate, brown sugar and almond notes.
