Origami Dripper Medium

Pour overs are just about my favorite way to brew coffee. The process is straightforward, easily mobile and can produce a really clean cup. Given that the simple technique of pouring water over coffee has been around for hundreds of years, new iterations and modifications to this brew method have come along with time. The Origami Dripper is a perfect example of these new modification and designs to aid in the pour over brewing process as well as improving the esthetics. The name Origami, ori means "folding", and gami means "paper", roughly translated from Japanese to english. Origami’s ceramic is also made by Mino Ceramics, a well known ceramics company in Japan with a 400 year old history. This ceramic brewer functions identically to a tradition cone pour overs with the added design inspired by folded paper origami. The 20 ridges in the cone allow for better water flow through your coffee and align perfectly with the flat bottomed Kalita 185 filters, 50 of which are included with the brewer along with the walnut support ring.
